Pink - YEP - I do love pink! I have a pink bathroom, a pink dollroom, and PINK in every room of our home. My china is pink! My couch is pink! PINK is EVERYWHERE! But, I especially LOVE these pink cheeks!
"No Way, MOM! You're really not going to make me your Pink Saturday subject, are you?"
Thanks Matt, for being a good sport. I'm happy you came out to visit us this weekend! And, thanks for stopping by IKEA for me, and for picking up my classroom supplies! What a son!
Shhhhhhh, don't tell him I said this, but... he's single, adorable, talented, and he has the cutest PINK cheeks!
And, he can COOK! - and he is the most amazing artist, and plays the guitar fabulously...
OH, I'm going to get into serious trouble!

So, I love showing you my sweet house and all the cute things that I love, but I should be honest with you all.
I have fur balls all over the house.
Sofie!!! I know it's 110 degrees outside, but the air-conditioning is on, and you are cool inside. What is all this shedding about???
My pink pillow isn't even pink anymore! And, no one can sit on the couch! Sofie thinks it's HER couch!
But, you are so doggone cute! Even your little PINK tongue! And, we love you!
We got Sofie up in Anza, CA - our favorite place in the world - where our 5 acres is sitting, and I am just dreaming of living there someday. Toni at Nottinghill Cavaliers, was so generous to let us bring her to our home. She is just soooo sweet!
Happy Pink Saturday, everyone!
Sofie says - give your pooch a smooch today!

Thank you Beverly, for hosting Pink Saturday for us again this week. I love meeting new friends, and finding inspiration in their blogs. I have found so many talented and lovely women. Thank you so much for sharing your lives and homes with all of us.

Psalm 86:15
But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
I finished reading a fabulous book by Francine Rivers called, "A Voice in the Wind", and am now reading the sequel called, "An Echo in the Darkness".
It is about a young Christian girl named Hadassah, living in Rome as a slave around 70 A.D. I encourage you to read it, if you haven't. It is blessing my life, and enriching my faith in the Lord. God is faithful, even when our world seems so upside down. God is truly, gracious.
awe! what a darn cute post. I just love the 'mug shots!'

What a good sport your son is to help you out for your pink post. Young girls out there have got to realize something like that would be worth a jillion points in the husband hunting game.

What a cute post!! Be thankful your son was a goos sport about it! My girls have to approve EVERYTHING I put on here about them!! LOL!! When my camera comes out for blog photos the girls disappear. If they want Facebook pictures, they are very available then!! LOL!! Sofie is just a doll!! Too cute!

Love the 'mug shots'! I seriously doubt I could have convinced any of my sons to go along with that!

What a wonderful son you have to pose for you like that...and for being willing to be a part of Pink Saturday. My son is generally a part of it every week as well...it is he who takes my photos for me. I don't even have a camera (I'm still in the 35mm age), so he uses his camera for every photo I want...and some days, that's about five photos. He's usually a pretty good sport about it, but I definitely know he wouldn't be willing to be part of the photo as your son was. Kudos to Matt.
By the way, I really like your pillow. It still looks pink to me, and it's very pretty.
Have a lovely, blessed day,
Patti
