My sweet hubs added crown molding and beadboard to my outdated 1980's oak cabinets. He then painted them a creamy cottage white. I love the brushed silver pulls he put on the doors and drawers.

April R.

How cute! You are super talented!! I wish I could do something like that but I just can't. I feel like I have this creative side inside me just bursting and wanting to come out... and that I could be soooo good at it if I just tried! I just don't know what "it" is.... oh well... I've always thought about doing something with lamp shades or making aprons or curtains. But thank you for visiting my blog. I have my multicolored Peace rose which is my favorite. It has a few buds on it now so I am just waiting for them to bloom. I also have a white Kennedy rose. That one is my most fragrant. I had a yellow rose but it didn't make it through the Texas summer. I am sad about that. I just bought a pomegranate tree and they are supposed to love direct sun, so we are placing it where the yellow rose was. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. Have a great week!

Oh Patti! Your banner is just darling! You should come join us for ME Monday and share it with everyone today. It's not too late. I so enjoy seeing the banners that that Cindy gets everyone working on. I think both your scarecrow and your "L" are just fabulous. I will have to poke around your blog some more to see what other ME I can find. ;-) Thanks for stopping by.

How cute is this, I'm also a huge Mary E fan! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment, which I answered this morning. Love your stuff!

I LOVE the banner and the way you've put it together!!! My fireplace mantel is dark wood so mine doesn't show up as well as yours does, but I'll see if I can get a photo to send to you. I like the way you put the FALL in the center rather than interspersed, and the seam binding - so cute!

Thanks so much for your email! (I haven't replied yet because I'm frantically finishing up two tag swaps to get in the mail TODAY - panic!!!) Just had to take a moment, though, to see your post. I was so awestruck when I got my banner and found it included such beautiful, beautiful creations - Oh, my - Cindy's such a wonderful swap hostess! Sooooooooo happy you joined the Fall Banner swap! Soooooooooo happy to find your beautiful blog!

I love the Fall banner! You gals are so talented, and your "L" really shines!
Patti, you commented about the little table that my daughter took from our attic to use in her apartment. That's a reproduction of an old Martha Washington sewing table. I believe it was made in the 40s. I always stored my yarn in those side parts, and if I had a bigger house, it would still be here in my home!
Your blog is so cute! I've added you to my favorites, and I'll be back often!
Happy Sunday!
