Hurrah - It's Pink Saturday!
Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun Pink Day!
Please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound and see ALL the Pink Saturday posts.
If you are able, please open another window to listen to the music I have chosen for this post. It is in the midi file just below the written words. I regret I don't know how to put it on my computer. Oh look, it shows up just a way down my post - it's yellow and says MIDI!

"Oh me oh my! Have you heard the good news!"
"I must go and tell the milkmaid the good news! "
"Good Morning Dear Cow. Have you good news for me this beautiful day?"
"Oh yes, Sweet Milkmaid!
The babies are here!"
"I must tell Miss Piglet. She has been waiting for this day!"
"The babies are here, Miss Piglet. Won't you join us as we go to visit the new babies?"
"Hello Mr. Bluebird! We have heard the happy news today! May we see your sweet new family?"
"Please do. Mama will be happy to see you!"
"Hello sweet Mama! Your babies are precious. What have you named them?"
"I have named them Glory, Melody, and Harmony. They sing beautifully aready. Listen to their fine song this morning!"
I have a song that Jesus gave me,
It was sent from heaven above;
There never was a sweeter melody,
'Tis a melody of love.
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony;
In my heart there rings a melody;
There rings a melody of love!
I love the Christ who died on Calv'ry,
For He washed my sins away;
He put within my heart a melody,
And I know it's there to stay.
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony;
In my heart there rings a melody;
There rings a melody of love!
'Twill be my endless theme in glory,
With the angels I will sing;
'Twill be a song with glorious harmony,
When the courts of heaven ring.
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony;
In my heart there rings a melody;
There rings a melody of love!
Lyrics and Composer: Elton Menno Roth, 1924.

Haven't heard that song in a while...it's a goodie! You really must make a book with your photos and papers of that song. I know your grandchildren would treasure it!!

Hi Patti, Those are the cutiest little ceramics. I have a big soft spot for little bluebirds.
I have a tag at the bottom of my blog that takes you to the most wonderful free graphics with those sweet little bluebirds.
To answer your question about my "faux sundaes", I don't make them but I used to sell them on my old website.

Hi Patti, I see you teach at a Christian school. My children went to Christian schools most of their years and I worked there too. You obviously have more energy than this grandma!
I may have asked you before...don't remember...are you anywhere near Riverside? My husband's kids and 9 of our grandchildren live there.
Blessings, Angela

Hi Patti - your vintage collectables are fabulous and these photos showcase them beautifully. You visited me during the "where bloggers create" party earlier this year - in July - and shamefully - I am just now getting around to making my visits.
Thanks for sharing these great photos and such a cute story~~

Patti,
I know I have already commented on this one before, but I just realized I do have the EXACT same cow figurine. It's so cute. Thank you so much for visiting and leaving the nice comment on my blog post. I love the county fair so much! I am such a dork, but at least I have fun. Mom has been in the hospital and now nursing home with another fall, so things have been nuts. I'm sorry it took me so long to write you back to thank you for visiting! Have a great week my friend.
Hugs,
Julie

And now that I have posted the comment I remembered that you were commenting on my new sewing room, not the county fair. Thank you so much. I love being down here working and playing. The only bad thing is I have bad knees and the stairs make life difficult!
