My sweet hubs added crown molding and beadboard to my outdated 1980's oak cabinets. He then painted them a creamy cottage white. I love the brushed silver pulls he put on the doors and drawers.

Oh that's just disgusting how little you paid for all those treasures.....what a lucky lady you are. I never would have thought you could find anything in California for those prices, even a garage sale. Makes me think I should drive a little further for garage's only 6 hours away! ;o)

You've done a splendid job of decorating your new little nest pretty lady. Have a wondrous holiday and I'm sending you warm virtual hugs!

Amazing transformations of your furniture. Love all your special treasures tucked into your white hutch. That glittered star and garland is a beautiful accent on the hutch. Enjoy your white Christmas. We had hopes for a white Christmas in West MI but it looks like it's going to be a rain event. Darn.

Hello Patti,
I am so very happy for you and your dream coming true of moving to the mountains in your new big house!! Congratulations on your 35th anniversary too!! Hubby and I celebrated our 30th this past October 15, 2012. I am so sorry to hear about the broken or almost broken tail bone. I can remember how painful that is!! I love the way you have your new home decorated and the Christmas decor is Amazing!!! I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
