When my sister and brother and I were little, waiting for Santa's arrival was exhilerating! We could hardly wait for Christmas morning!
We were Santa's Big Helpers!
We knew Santa was very busy packing up his sleigh and heading our way!
And, afterall, I had been a good girl all year - well, mostly good. :)
My mother made these sweet ornaments out of plastic wine goblets in the late 1970's. I love them - and now they are so 'vintage' - uh-oh, does that mean I am 'vintage', too!
The older I get, the more I appreciate my sweet parents. Many of my friends have seen their dear parents pass on. I am thankful to have my sweet parents with me still.
Vintage ornaments are way too cute!

Christmas Eve
Now, it means something different to me.
A tiny baby, born in a manger, born to save the world.
Thank you Jesus.

My younger brother is ten moths younger than me. We love the months we are the 'same' age and he'll still ask me 'how old are we this year?'
