My sweet hubs added crown molding and beadboard to my outdated 1980's oak cabinets. He then painted them a creamy cottage white. I love the brushed silver pulls he put on the doors and drawers.

I love this post! I hated playing sports in high school but felt "forced" to do something. Love the idea of crafting as a sport. Your special studio/craft room is just lovely.

Your craft room is amazing!! Love all those vintage dolls. I am on the hunt for a doll that was my very favorite when I was growing up. My Mom put her in a plastic bag and put her in the cedar hope chest that had been her hope chest. When we went to unpack all the items I had collected for my future home, we took my sweet Suzie doll out and took her out of the plastic bag, she fell apart in my hands. I was days away from marrying my high school love and there I was sobbing because my favorite baby doll was gone. Suzie went every where with me when I was little. I was an only child, and my real father died when I was 20 months old. Suzie was my present for my second Christmas!! I have the photos and my Daddy got that doll for me!! So, I hunt on ebay weekly to see if I can find her, I have bought several dolls but when they arrive, they aren't the doll I had.
oops I wrote a novel, but that baby bed full of dolls brought back fond memories!
Have a wonderful week!

You are so right to encourgage the girls in your class to wear their "uniform"!!! What a special teacher you must be! And thanks for sharing the pictures of your crafting arena! It's amazing!!

Crafting is definitely a sport!! I could honestly spend hours in your craft room!! So pretty and full of the sweetest treasures!! xo Heather

Your craft room is beautiful, it sure is inspiring.
Next year you need to go to school loaded down with all your crafting tools on a big tool belt or maybe not, who wants to spend all day pulling up the belt. Wait even better wear a shirt with a pair of scissors as your team logo.
