My sweet hubs added crown molding and beadboard to my outdated 1980's oak cabinets. He then painted them a creamy cottage white. I love the brushed silver pulls he put on the doors and drawers.

What a lovely story Patti! I love dishes too! My hubby worries that the weight of them will pull down the cabinets! LOL! Do you use all your dishes....I find that certain meals need to go on certain dishes...have a great weekend!

So, so pretty!! I have the small dessert plates, and just love them!! Your kitchen is so pretty and filled with such the sweetest things!! Have a great weekend!! xo Heather

ahh, what a sweet story! Sounds like you have one special man there!!
Have a great day! We are going to go and see the Monster trucks tonight with out great-nephews and their parents! The boys begged us to go last night, so we are going. One is 14 and the other one is 4! so super special to us that they want us to do things with them!!
have a wonderful weekend,

HA! I was so excited to see I own some of the same dishes - now I'm cool too!!

Yes, the cathedral was gorgeous. It's a few hundred years old. The museum was more of a castle which a family actually lived in. Loved the architecture, not so much the theology though.

You indeed hit the mother load on cute dishes....I wish we had a Home Goods in Alaska...I visited one in Seattle this summer and was blown away at all the cute things!! Heidi

What a sweet husband ~ I'm sure that's why you've kept him around all these years! ;)
I'm lucky that my husband is the same way!

Oh they are absolutely wonderful. I love that pattern and how fabulous of him to insist taking you and to give you such a wonderful Anniversary present. I love it.

You asked about my silver. I clean it with tarn-x, so it doesn't take a lot of work. I really love the sparkle.

Hugs, Marty
