Joining the Spoolie-Swap, lavishly hosted by Sandy at 521 Lake Street, has been great fun for me! I have made a new friend - sweet Tammy, at Tammy's in Love. This is the spoolie I made for Tammy. I used vintage wooden spools from my grandmother's stash. I made a BIG spoolie. Maybe it's being nearsighted. I didn't know they should be tiny little cutie spoolies. I made a GIANT spoolie! Oh well. I hope Dear Tammy likes it!
And, this is the cute baby spoolie she made for me - and it is just too cute for words!
It is about 4 inches high - and really cute. There is just lots of little cuteness added to this spoolie - see the little pink doilie! Oh My!
Now look at this...
It's a candy bunny - the kind you put on cakes! Is that ever clever!
And, she decorated the box it came in. And, look at all the goodies!
Can you even see it all? Look at the little matchbox decorated with Mary Engelbreit sweetness - and you know - I sent her an extra Mary E. spoolie because we both love her so much. We are M.E. sisters!
Tammy - Look what hatched on it's way to my house! I wondered what that peeping sound was coming from inside the box!
And Tammy, thank you so much for this little book - so precious to set out for Easter - so vintage and bright. I love it!
Thank you so much Tammy - for not only making me this adorable cutie-pie spoolie with all these sweet treasures - but for taking the time to get to know me a bit. I hope that we can continue our budding friendship.

My kinder-kids love this song...
Make new friends and keep the old,
One is silver and the other gold!
Tammy and I both met our husbands at Bible College.
We both work for ministries - she at a large church, and me at a Christian School.
We both love to serve the Lord.
We have both lived in Oregon.
We are both grandmothers - me of 3 - and she of soon to be 3!
I don't know if Sandy hand picked us - or if God smooched us together! Either way - it is a perfect match. Thank you, Tammy!
What a perfect match you two are. Such beautiful treasures from Tammy. She is a dear blogging friend. Your spool is just fantastic. Easter hugs!!

Dear sweet Patti,
What a joy it is to hear about you and Tammy's new friendship. The Easter Swap has been such fun. I have been richly blessed with Joyce of www.scrapsforjoy.blogspot.com. We both mailed our packages and are just waiting for them to arrive. I can't wait!
Just look at those spoolies...I love your tower of spoolies...and, especially, because the spools were your Grammma's. Tammy's is adorable, too. Just look at all the talent between the two of you.
It's such a joy meeting a fellow sister-in-Christ. And, also, a ME sister.
Thanks for sharing, sweetie.
Blessings and Happy Spring!

Hi Patti!
Thank you so much for visiting my little blog and your sweet comments re the spoolie swap!
I love your spoolie, so adorable. I nearly did mine on a large spool and then an idea came to me for some smaller ones - I love that you used a large one. I used two little ones from my grandmothers things too.
Tammy's gift to you is so darling and it sounds like you two were such a perfect match, I love that. Makes me smile.
Happy almost weekend to you!
