I love....
This lovely lady is Peggy Stovesand. She wrote the book, "Flip, the Inside Out Turtle". Her son, Eric, created the AMAZING illustrations. This book talks about bullying - and how sometimes, when we feel lonely, we might pick on someone. Flip has to 'learn' to be kind and make friends. Perfect for kindergarten!

I love my sweet McKenzie. She is 13 years old now and showing her age. She wears this harness so that we can help her get up. Her hips are growing weaker, but once she is up, she can walk. We hope this harness will help for as long as possible.
I love how my sweet husband is working in the yard - getting the beds ready for me to plant.
~~~~Isn't he a cutie! ~~~~
I just sent my husband an email with the name of the book/author from your post. As a school social worker he's always looking for books on bullying. Your husband looks so sweet in your yard. Such a gorgeous view you have. Happy planting!
Aw, I love seeing your life and reading about it, Patti! Thanks for signing up for my give away.
Sorry you didn't win but let me know if you'd ever be interested in doing a trade of some sort! ♥
Hi Patti! It looks like that garden bed is coming along! What a sweet hubby getting everything ready for you :) That book sounds wonderful, I'm glad it helps teach the children how to make friends!
That book looks really cute. It is more fun planting than cleaning up. But it seems like every year I seem to create more beds.
